Donations to The Fit for Life Fund are used to pay for children whose parents are stationed overseas, to attend CrossFit Kids™ classes!

The Fit for Life Fund will also pay for CrossFit trainers to become CrossFit Kids™ certified if they are in an area where CrossFit Kids ™ trainers are in demand.

We want to see The Fit for Life Fund program grow! Someday, we would like to include:

 
  • CrossFit Kids™ mobile gyms
  • Funding to start your own CrossFit affiliate that offers CrossFit Kids™
  • Support groups for the parents to attend while children attend CrossFit classes
  • Nutrition counseling and family support to fight childhood obesity.

The Fit for Life Fund chose Google Applications for Non-Profits:

 
  • Google Checkout lowers the costs and risks associated with managing sensitive data
  • Transaction fees are lower than PayPal or other donation processing centers
  • If the Fit for Life Fund qualifies for the Google Grants porgram (a 5-6 month process), transaction fees are waived
  • Google Grant receipients receive free AdWord advertising
